Record Snow Fall

January 23, 2016

As record snow falls hit the area this weekend the 61 house remind fairly quiet. Residents heeded the warnings and remained home during the height of the snow fall. Members staffed the station overnight in order to keep the sidewalks and driveways clear to aid in quick responses if needed.

Please remember as the days get warm and melting occurs the night temperatures drop creating black ice. Use caution during late night and early morning hours on your commutes. Be vigilant in keeping vents clear around your home to prevent Carbon Monoxide from building up in your home. HAVE FUN AND ENJOY THE SNOW!
