Travel on Interstate 78 in Berks County was halted for a time Thursday morning while crews airlifted a truck driver to the hospital.
A helicopter landed on I-78 near mile marker 26.4 in Tilden Twp. after a truck carrying a clay-type material rolled over on its side, trapping the driver.
Police closed the interstate in both directions while the chopper landed on the highway. The accident happened between Hamburg and Shartlesville.
There's no word on the condition of the driver or what may have caused the accident, which happened around 10:30 a.m.
Eastbound lanes were open, but the right lane in the westbound lane was closed while crews work cleaned up the mess. All westbound lanes reopened around 3 p.m. Wednesday.

61 was alerted for a a dual call run. D61-1 Miller took in the AFA at the Blue Mountain Academy- Reports of a false alarm and detector from staff on site. D6-2 Emes took in reports of a building Collapse. The department split up and handled both calls. Due to heavy snow falls a exterior roof collapsed no structure damage found. Crews assisted with isolating roof and clearing egress for apartment building. Hamburg PD assisted. D61-1 Miller cleared Tilden AFA due to a malfunction detector.
